front windshield install

have gasket and windshield do i need any gasket sealent around the windshield gasket first? anything hard about the front chrome install?

pretty simple install , just be careful installing the trim not to chip any paint ecspecialy the top corners

Don't use anything metal near the glass.  I used some plastic body filler spreaders and some concentrated dish soap and the windshield went right in.  It took me about 45 minutes to do start to finish.  I also put a small bead of window weld urethane along the bottom of the windshield channel before installing the new gasket.
