I used to have one when I was 14 years old and it sat approximately 1.5" off the ground and it had a McCoullogh two cycle engine with a banana pipe, that thing was fast!!! I get sick thinking of the stuff I used to do! I recall one time that I was flying around a corner in a neighborhood that I was not familiar and guess what after making a turn at approx. 30 - 40 mph!!! SPEED BUMPS AHEAD!!! I hit the speed bump and the kart became air-bourne with me on it. My guess I must of been 4' - 5' off the ground and when I landed the right tire pipe strut broke off. Had to have my father have one of his friends welded back on. Told him that I hit the curb by accident. I think my kidneys lost approx. 10 years of life expectancy from that hit. :-\

After that episode, I started to race it only on the tracks!
