guys are real funny. all I have to say is.,,,you try being stuck in the middle of BFE with your classic car with absolutely no help what so ever and then well talk.

Sorry for kidding around. But seriously I'm adding some things that you mentioned. Still trying to build something that wont slide/move around in the trunk, tool boxes just jump around and make all kinds of noise. What are you using to store all that stuff?

I used to carry my mother-in-law in the trunk.

Before she "outgrew" it, if you know what I mean.

I never leave home without my Trunk Monkey! :D

What's up with trunk monkey's? On our street bikes we hang a bell on the bottom of the frame, to ward of bike Gremlins. :yesnod:

Most of it is stuffed into an oversized plastic tool box. I have that bungied into the right side of the trunk inder the wheel well. Fits pretty good (plenty of room in the rest of the trunk for lots of other things. and thanks to the bungies it stay pretty firmly in place.

It really doesn't take up that much space and to me having the confidence that I can get myself out of a bind on my own if I need to makes it worth it to me. THats all.

Hah! I used to be the worst at this. Which is even more odd considering I've never broken down on the road.

I carried a hydrallic floor jack, 2 jack stands, extra hoses/belts. at least 2 ballast resistors, a coil, a distributer, an ignition module, spare water pump, spare oil pump, at least 1 tube of RTV, numerous various mechanical parts. A complete set of jets and cams, header gaskets, towels, dirty pants/shirt.
and literally 160 Lbs worth of all my tools.

My Stereo components....  but once I get a new sub box integrated into one of the side panels it should free up some room.
