hot rod pc game

Anyone remember what that game is called...has 66 charger in it and T-bird, vette, galaxy, etc. You can customize them in your garage (take off bumpers, buy 4 spd trans and new engine etc) Then you can cruise to cafe and challenge people to race or race for pink slips.

The one for DOS? If it's the one below it's called Street Rod 1 & 2 by California Dreams!  I still have a copy of it around somewhere! They are classified now as abandonware so you can download them from the links I provided free and legally! There is also supposed to be an expansion pack around somewhere!

Ive got that "Hot Rod" game as well and there was a cuda in it! The thing I hated about that game was that once you hit the most powerful care, randomly your car can slowly start steering to the right even if you dont touch the steering buttons, and if you try to steer back it oversteers and crashes!

That goes to show you how much games have evolved.. they are amazing now..Makes me want to get a console
