PARTS CLEANER FLUID ??

I tried to do a search here but came up empty.  So what solution do you use in your parts cleaner??  I bought a cheapy parts cleaner today and the stuff they sell was all gone.

A buddy of mine uses mineral spirits with a little tranny fluid in it to cut down on the skin burn.  what do you suggest??

I use some industrial floor soap we use at the factory.works good.i get it out of a 500 gal tote so i don't know what kind of brand it is,but you could go to a supply house and get something.

you could use good old kerosene or mineral spirits, that could work.

And.....Safety kleen.  There is one near Tampa.   I did a search for zip 34667 on their site and came up with this.

Damn Mike, Thanks...  Were you bored this morning or what??  Hahaha    

I am wondering what everyone uses as I used Safety Clean in my shops back home and it did the job, but I have heard of a few other things over the years and wondered what else works.. My father-in-law uses some ORANGE STUFF in his machine shop and likes it. No bio hazard and it lasts for a long time. I can't find it close.. Purple Stuff I can get but don't know if it lasts.  Diesel fuel works but smells like hell.. Mineral spirits also works but I have no idea for how long or it's burning point. (Florida remember)..

I am out of shop room and will have to keep the unit outside next to my shop under cover. I figure I will keep the bulk of the fluid in a safe container until use. Then back to the container.. Stuff evaporates fast here..  I really want to stay bio safe..

Mythbuster prooved long tine ago about Pepsi or Coca Cola works EVEN BETTER than some wax products when polishing bumpers, so probably will work to clean everything... of course will need some water after all to remove the sugar.

I know in Spain Pepsi or Coca Cola has been used oftenly to remove rust from bolts

I didn't want to have allot of solvent around, to hard to try to figure out a safe way to get ride of it, so I used scrubbing bubbles 3m adhesive grease remover, an degreaser for por-15, and the last step that worked great on metal parts I used from an idea of cleaning my black power rifle boiling hot soapy water..............
