I saw it last night and thought it was good.   The plot drags along at spots and the acting seems a little forced here and there, but overall, it's still a really good movie.  The special effects are top notch, and if you were a fan of Venom in the comic, you will love how they designed him for the movie.  Overall, not as good as the second one (which I thought was just about a perfect movie), but probably a little better than the first.  My brother went with me and thought it was the best one so far.  If you like the fight scenes, you will probably like it more than the others, if you like a heavy plot, you won't like it as much as the other two.  Either way, it's still worth the cost of the tickets, IMO.

Saw it friday nite w/ the wife.  We both liked it a lot.  Did seem to drag on somewhat but overall was a good show.  They did a really good job with Sandman and Venom..

I liked it but as I suspected they tried to cover too much ground. Too many bad guys, too many story lines running, too many girlfriends. It pretty much tells me they aren't going to be making a number 4 and so they wanted to try stuffing all the goods into 3 that they could. And the movie suffered because of it. They should have left the Sandman out IMO. In the comic books Venom was virtually unbeatable so the teamup at the end against him alone would have made more sense.

And PP's cool phase was pretty over-the-top in the cheesy dept.
