well monday night me and the boy was playing catch.he is in first grade and is playing tee ball for the first time.so anyway were thrown the ball and he is catchn pretty good.so i told him one more and were done.throw him the ball and he didn't get the glove up and the ball smacked him in the right eye. :-\
well the crying started flowing and i got him calmed down and we threw some more and quit for the night.
yesterday i got home from work and he got off the bus and he looked like he had one heck of a fight. ::)My wife took him to baseball practice that night and the coach asked him what happened he told him "dad hit me with a ball"
The wife told matthew to tell the coach the rest of it.and then he said i didn't catch it
I imagine he told his teacher the same thing.think I'm beat'n my kids up with baseballs
I got to get a pic if i can find the camera.

That's half the fun of being a kid, showing off your black eye to all your friends...regardless of how you got it. ;D
I was the master of disgusting bloody noses when I was a kid, I'll spare you the details. :D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I used to get hit in the arse every time I got up to bat.
Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

At what point did the coach tell you to stand beside home plate and not on it?   :D
