I'm watching the 2000 version with Nick Cage.  This site doesn't have it listed on cars in that movie....

Ah I see! Then sign up with their message boards and let them know. They will add it to the site whether you have a good pic of it or not!

What R/T i dont see no R/T, just a charger with a goofy 70s paint job

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

The car in the original was not a 71 R/T, easy mistake to make with that black paint on the sides but the car has a flat hood. Looks to actually be the same car that you see at the VERY beginning of the mustang chase, just with the black stripes added so it looks different.

I think that Satellite and the RoadRunner/GTX that gets clobbered are the same car as well - pretty big coincidence that they are the same color with the same wheels.

Remember that all those cars that got destroyed in that movie were Toby Halicki's cars, the police cars and civil service cars were all bought at LA county auctions, and the cars that were used in the chase scenes were rebuilt wrecks and junkers spruced up for the camera. Even that Challenger that gets dropped into the shredder that everybody moans about is a hodgepodge of years and parts.

By the way, when you are watching the Chase scenes with Eleanor, watch the parked cars, you will see some VERY familiar yellow Mustangs!

I was gonna say it is a superbee]/ Charger 71, tail lights tell the story  :yesnod:
Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris
