Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

GeneralLeeTESH

True-but tell that to the wife, who let me spend the $ building a HEMI, which will last a Hell of a lot longer without paper filter material floating around in the motor !

when you went to burnout, it sounded like you were loading up the engine or there is a misfire somewhere, have you tried a hotter plug?  also, wix filter will do what that filter will do if you dont mind me saying, for 5.69 each.

Mark,
I agree with Jamey.  Get yourself a WIX or NAPA Gold(same thing) and use the rest of the money to treat your family to a nice dinner. :2thumbs:

The duak 4 V carbs had to be "de-tuned" to match the cam profile for street apps. There was ign misfire. I put in a set of Autolite 62s-what a difference ! (I sinned-I had Champions in there originally). Also-having worked in Aviation for 21 years- I realize the IMPORTANCE of oiling. Kelly Tidwell-of GoPurePower recommends using Shell Rotella T  15W-40 oil in most engine applications. I understand the importance of Old HEMIs needing good oiling at the rocker arm to valve tips ! Old HEMIs depend on good oiling and oil cooling. The filter I am choosing has an external heat sink in its canister design along with 30 micron-screening! Within this screen filter are embedded magnets ! It will flow 20 gals/min vs the 6 gal/min the paper filters have. That is an 3.33 TIMES increase in FLOW of oil and improved cooling !  NASCAR uses this product...so do the PT6 turbines in most airplane apps. I am expecting a 6 pounds psi increase in oil pressure and LESS mechanical resistance in my motor due to better flow and oiling !  This is WORTH the 200 bucks spent to me !-JUST some Engineering... :o
....  SO  THERE  !!!    :nana: :yesnod: :scratchchin:
