I just bought a charger and found this written on the headliner...

284/284      60* over LAP (or maybe it says LAR)

intake torker 440


I looked under the hood and the carberator says holley, then on the engine it says edlelbrok tokrer 440....
does this mean the engine has been bored with cam?

Well, you said that the engine is .40 over, so it is bored over.  As for the cam, I believe that's the stock duration for the original camshaft.  In regards to the intake, the Torker II is an Edelbrock single plane manifold that's supposed to focus on power in the mid-range...

Only way I know to tell for sure is to pull one of the heads and see if .040 is stamped on top of the pistons. If you don't see that, then you'll need to mic the cylinder bore to tell for sure.
