.I looked at this superbird in south jersey in or before 1992 when the owner gave me a wanted parts list for it A original.Alpine white RM23UOA175680.Lastime I saw it it looked like this at the back of a body shop he had it at.That body shop is no longer there. From then till know. This car has yet to surface.Wonder what became of and him and his cars .

Didn't that car come out of a salvage yard in NJ some years before that?

nascarxx29

Not sure if it was a junkyard car .I did help rescue a 69 charger 500 from a NJ junkyard 210549.But only sent one superbird to a NJ junkyard we parted out for a superbird ragtop. We have title and rest of car in a envelope. I have seen and tracked down superbirds in my town. The Ed Field superbird went to a salvage yard near me and never was seen again 165386 .This other superbird that disappeared was a orange car from Swedesboro NJ Joe Nickerson .When I talked to that owner he said he got the car from Monroe. We also got a buildsheet from old Tom Hayden superbird 167961.Where ever that car ended up.And found 2 more off the road since mid 70-s early 80-s superbirds resting not far from where I moved to

Joe Nickerson bought the Lemon Twist car from my dad.  It was a Hemi car with a 440 in it.

Dave are you sure the vin was 210549? I looked through everything I have, and don't have any VIN's close to that number. would be a new one to me.

I will check it might be 210749.But I was sure it was right but not written down Just memorized it missed by a number somtimes. That car lead was given to Gary M of Ohio.Who took what was needed daytona clone.Sold same 69 500 to Steve K of IL.The yellow superbird Doug mentioned. When I first saw it it was orange. There might be still in N NJ Mark D with a yellow hemi superbird

That's the junkyard photo I remember.   So it's not Machos' car then.

The Ed Field car came from the insurance salvage yard. I found him .But no car.Another superbird mystery is a car that raced at atco dragway. In NJ owner was B Kesselman who had a speed shop drag in.The superbird had a logo of a dragon on its doors along with the drag in.I was able only to get zerox pictures from a family member. After it had been in a street crash in July 1970 Whereabouts today??

210749 is in a sequence of VIN"s that I've seen. I haven't seen any 2105xx cars, just 2107xx.
