why my tach is not working

ok i but the tach in and everything.. i put the tac sig to the negative of the coill.. and the the 12v to the 3 way yellow connector on the main harness.. i found that there was 2 three way connectors.. and it doesnt work in either??\\
anybody.. maybe i did somethin wrong

fuse ? check fuse number 6. Is the one what feeds the acc source 3 way conector.

There is no 2 yellow 3way sources just one at least on diagrams and harnesses I have seen.

another 3ways plugs are:

black with yellow wire around glove box area, what is door jam switch ground source,

red conector with pink wire around ashtray area is direct batt source

orange conector orange wire around A/C control area, is cluster lights source

i checked the fuse.. and then i tested for 12 volts and it was good for that too.. kinda stuck.. and yes there is 2 yellow 3 ways.. one has no wires going into it. and the other has a blue wire going in the the middle of the three way
could it be a bad tach.. its one of those aftermaket ones.. that takes over the position of the clock

Nice!!! two of those... I would love mine has 2... the only one actually I have is full ( deck lid latch, AC blower and RR deffog blower )

I just say, if you are sure wire up - lead of coil is good, then probably damaged dunno; or bad ground at cluster, but if cluster lights are working good then not sure. Probably screws what attaches the tach to cluster are loosen ?

well i got the tach workin.. it turns out i had some more instructions.. and it had a lil note at the bottom that said if u have a msd igntion instaled...................... so i had to hook the tac part into the output of the msd box.. and now she is all good to go...
