will 295's on 15" x 11" with 3 1/2" Back spacing work on the rear of my car?  I am looking at a set of come nice wheels.  If I understand it right, 15X11 with 3 1/2 should fit about the same as 15x10 with 4 1/2 back space right?  so if my math is correct  :D  it should fit.

Your math is backwards. The tire will stick out 2" farther than the 15x10 4-1/2" backspaced wheel. The 15x11 3-1/2" combo will be able to hit the fender lip unless you jack the car up.

I've got 15x8 with 3 1/2" backspace i think with 275/60  and they hit the fender lip.popped the filler on the driver side :brickwall:

PaulG started a good thread about wheel he fit on his 73 and works for everyone. Is a starting point to take your decisions

That size tire would look nice & beefy from the back! Post a pic of your Charger. :yesnod:

I am not going to get them after all.  I am worried they are going to stick out too far. sucks because I could get them at a great price for all 4.  Its hard to find a 5" back space at a good price.  this set was 60 bucks a wheel.
