Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

In all of the years of scanning the TV guide and satelite guide for late night auto movies, I've never even heard of this one.

The Cuda from that movie was at Carlisle a few years ago in a tent by the Joe Dirt Daytona.   I can't find a pic right now.    I've never seen the movie... wasn't planning on it anytime either.

Maybe it sucks? Or maybe it's not very popular because a murderer is in the lead role? :shruggy:

Yea. ::)

Anyway, I found another reason it might suck -- that retarded tagline. "Smell the rubber burn. Hear the women scream." That's even stupid in 1970.

Are you implying that OJ might have perpetrated the murders he was accused of?  :icon_smile_big:

I almost got picked to be on the Blake jury...and I have to say  I would have let him walk, just on principle. His ex was a C U Next Tuesday....

Yeah, Maybe not the best movie but not the worst Either, Hot Rod Magazine or somebody had a top 40 or 50 car Movies & I dont think it was even listed there while worse movies were. Thats a big list to leave off CORKY. I like the 68 or 69 Cuda with big Daytona Wing & Psychodelic 60's paint job. Wish I could have seen the car at Carlyle, I remember seeing it for sale in a Local Auto Swapper Mag about 6 years back. Wanted to buy it. Also remember this Corky Cuda in the old 1976 Die Hard Battery Commercial. The one where the guys Battery goes dead while trying to start the car in the morning for work. Then he sez, Son, Can I borrow your car, Kid sez Sure Dad, Throws him the Keys, Next thing you see is this Old Timer squeeling the Tires down the street in this Crazy Looking Corky Cuda & trying to drive a 4speed. Funny. Am I the only Old Timer that remembers this commercial? LEON.

Here's a pic when it was at Carlisle quite a few years ago.
