Wow,
Is this a real model of the Satellite? Is it like a rare Bengal Charger? Was the Sundance really a model package?  :shruggy:

Its a real package.  I think its one of those packages you just dont hear about because there werent many made..  The brown one in this pic is a Sundance I know of locally.  I wouldnt put it in the same category as a Bengal Charger...  More like a Hang Ten Dart maybe?

What's really cool is that it is kinda ugly. This is a new option to me but I love it. I would have one of those things in a minute. That is living history right in front of your face. Too cool.
If it ain't wide open; it ain't running.        Rule number one in motocross racing: Pin it; row the gear box; and wait until you hit something.     At work my motto is: If you need me, call someone else.

It does appear on my 74 Mopar parts catalog  :yesnod:. I don't have scanner but will take a pic

It was the parallel model to the Spring special Charger thought ( and Dodge Dart hang ten )

It does look several model package came off in mid 74 to increase sales. My catalog is April

There has been one for sale in this board before even. There is nothing special about it even though few people know about since it's really nothing special except a sun sticker on the sun and a few other small things. Like someone said before, it's like a Hang ten Dart and those are only special because of the screwy choices in colors and the back seat that folds all the way down to allow for a surf board. I don't think the Sundance has even anything THAT special.

I have always thought the Sundance package was a pretty rare and cool! :yesnod:
But let us not forget the because something is rare does not mean it is also valueable! :yesnod:

Considering you can order the Sundance sticker set and now you have a Sundance. Someone once told me that the Sundance doesn't even have anything on the fendertag to say what it is...

The option package was A77 and was a 1974 deal only. It was an option on the Sebring and had either EW1 or JL6 paint with V1YW trim and the sundance stickers.

BTW I really like them and if I had the money I would buy the one on e-bay right now, they make cool cruizers and that one is very good shape as it seems.

Nice looking car, I'd drive it, but I'd change the steering wheel to a tuff wheel :yesnod:

Man, I wish I was well to do, I would have this Satellite &  A Spring Special Charger. That is really a cool Satellite. I really like the rare unique cars that Ma Mopar put out. :yesnod:
73' Dodge Rallye Charger 400/4BBL
06' Dodge Ram Quad Cab 4X4 HEMI
15' Dodge Dart 2.7 SXT

Yep, I remember those cars....I never recall seeing magnum road wheels back in the day, but probably was optional.  Arthur is right Spring Special ...74 model year only, and BTW a very clean looking example I might add  ;)

Chris G.

That Sundance is sweet! I would love to own it. The Charger spring special was nothing more than an interior dress up as far as I know.

Man, that car was restored in 1998? I wonder how in the world they found the sticker set? :o
It sure is in great shape. :yesnod:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
