Bumper conditioning

In one of our discount stores, Ollie's, they sell buy out items. The have about 50 cans of the textured paint that gets hard as a rock like the ricers use on there dashes and panels. Has anyone tried dressing a front or rear bumper with this stuff? It's only a dollar a can and comes in different colors. I have an old rear bumper off my 74 I was thinking about spraying to see how it looks.
