Hi everybody just picked up dp4b intake for the 383 just wanted to know what you guys thought about it for a mild 383. I currently have an old streetmaster and I am not impressed. Marc

very nice intake, you will like it.   its much better than a performer, not quite an rpm but it also doesnt have any hood clearance or throttle bracket issues.    nice score!
the street master is a pig, infact it has much smaller runners than a factory manifold.

:iagree: The dp4b is an excellent manifold. The streetmaster is a smog manifold that will choke your engine down....horrible design !  :P The streetmaster would be good (that's debateable) on a motorhome.

Bought a DP4B on eBay for my 383..

Will a Carter TQ fit on this intake..?

:scratchchin:

Nope, but they do make an adaptor plate that can be used to go from square bore to spread bore and visa-versa, good luck.

TQ to square is not a good solution.

I believe the Weiand Action Plus is set-up to run either TQ or square. I know the Street Dominator is.

Guess i´ll have to find me a Holley SD then.. heard that the TQ is a great all around carb so I want to keep it.
