I gotta get me one of these:

http://www.spyworld.net/AutoTaser.htm

http://www.carsecurity1.co.uk/fact.htm

AUTO TASER FACT SHEET

What Is It?
A UNIQUE 4 IN 1 CAR SECURITY SYSTEM

Steering wheel lock
120 decibel alarm system
When activated the unit becomes electrified to 50,000 volts :o
Car stereo shield
Transferable from car to car
No installation required

How Does It Work?
Attach to steering wheel and lock with key
Upon leaving car arm with Krypton encoded remote key fob
Key fob also has tester button
If a thief breaks into car:
120 db alarm sounds
After 5 seconds unit becomes electrified to 50,000 volts
Visible electricity arcs up and down the unit
If thief touches the Auto Taser he gets a shock

Is It Legal?
It is legal to defend ones property with reasonable force
The Auto Taser is classified under the same laws as an electric fence
You must be perpetrating a criminal offence to be affected
Warning stickers must be displayed on side windows
The Auto Taser is designed as a deterrent not a boobytrap
120 db warning alarm sounds 5 seconds before unit is activated
Visual arcing shows the unit is live
Activates only when locked onto a steering wheel

What Is It Made Of?
To resist hammer attacks - the outer case is made from Polycarbonate (the material of which bullet-proof glass is made)
To resist saw attacks - the inner case is made from case-hardened steel
Completely self contained - no wires
Powered by 3 x 9 volt batteries enclosed within the unit

Does It Cause Any Damage?
Causes no physical harm, including people with heart conditions and pacemakers
Akin to a static shock
Causes an involuntary muscular contraction forcing the perpetrator to pull his arm away

I wonder if it could be modified to 100,000 volts...just because a crispy car theif  is the best kind. :D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

:haha:

You'd never get the stink out of the car though...

I wonder wht would happen if someone just cut the steering wheel with a large bolt cutters. They defeat the club that way around here.

Charger1973

Or just remove the steering wheel.  Takes 2 minutes..

That would be priceless to actually see that item in action!  :yesnod:

The down side would be if when the thief was shocked, if he relieved himself on your seat. I have heard that you can piss and s#@t yourself when being tased. Your car would still be there, but there might be a mess on your seat to clean up.  :yesnod:

I think this is true, there was an episode of cops, where the guy pissed himself after being tased ..I would have no sighned the waiver to allow that on tv, I think they pay them to let them tape it?

Probably wouldn't be a good idea. I remember a guy was steeling tires and wheels and the car came down on him and he sued the owner.........yeah go figure.

That looks great...but the way most steering wheel locks are disabled is with a can of freon and a hammer.  The guy sprays the refrigerant on one spot on the lock for a few seconds and then hits it with a hammer.  The lock breaks and the car is ready to go.
I ain't got time for pain, the only pain I got time for is the pain i put on fools how don't know what time it is.

But wouldn't the current travel through the freon stream, through the can and into his hand? :shruggy:

I doubt there would actually be any current since the lock has to be "disturbed" in order for the alarm and current to be activated.  a freon stream would probably not be enough to activate it.

Never did that but I've had a few "friends" try to convince me to.
