Well, since I've got the overall motor build figured out, some how it's got to stay cool. Around here, we have high humidity, and during the summer high temps.... Winter, well, humidity don't change, and it gets somewhat cold depending on what you compare it to. Anyway, back on the topic, cooling performance. The motor will have aluminum heads, high volume aluminum water pump, and aluminum water pump housing, the thermostat cover is yet undecided. Anyway, this one is for the radiator and such. I'm looking at a 26" factory style down flow so hopefully I want have to drill on the car or anything like that to modify something to make it fit..... http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/mucaralra1.html. I'm not sure if this is the best option, so I'm open to other ideas and such. I'm planning on running a thermostat like this: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=MIL%2D16406&autoview=sku. Also, the fan shroud, if using one of thsoe radiators on that page, will be the one listed there too for a good match up.

I have that same radiator in my Charger with an aluminum shroud but I used a 160 thermostat and a 7psi cap. On the hotest summer day the motor runs 190 at a stop light and 175 driving!

There has been an ad on eBay lately for a 26" aluminum radiator for a Charger for $209.  Does anybody know if the 1970 Charger radiator is the same as the 1969 radiator? The ad says the stock fan shroud will work. Thanks

It isn't the same part number if that's what you mean.
