I won this 2 weeks ago for $178.50. The price for a uncorrect repro tach alone is $187.00. And I got ALL the wiring and more :icon_smile_big: And, NO, I already had the cat!

Good buy!   :icon_smile_shock: I'm assuming that your original dash is not in great shape...or are you planning to just use the tach? Either way, good buy!

I don't see too many of those rally set ups, are they harder to find? Congrats!

I have to show my 6 year old daughter, she'll love the cat.   :icon_smile_big:

Congrats there DCG. i hope your luck is better than mine. seems like every time i buy one "condition unknown" or " was working when pulled , but no gaurantee" the stuff ends up DOA.  i got tired of that game and just bought one of the so called repro`s.  The repro`s are nice but so much different than the originals that i prefer to call them replacements.
On the flip side, if the tach doesnt work, you can send it out for repair/refacing and have a good looking/working original.

The cat is just there double checking the wiring and everything esle to make sure it's all up to code!  :icon_smile_big:

My original dash has the 150 speedo, but no clock or tach, only the big fuel gauge set up. I plan on taking my 150 speedo to put in this dash, (this one has the 120 speedo), this tach and gauges and put them in my car. I already have another complete setup like this only with the clock, so I didn't really need the whole setup. But I figured heck ya for the price :yesnod:

So, let me see here, I have 3 complete Rallye dash setups (one with tach 120 MPH speedo all wiring, one with clock 120 MPH speedo, some wiring, one generic rallye dash that came with car 150 MPH speedo), and 2 metal housings, one with tab broken off, one unmolested, unbroke :icon_smile_big:

I actually just got it a week ago & posted some pics. It's still a project, but the nasty work was done already. It's on this thread:

What part of VA are you in? A friend of mine just moved there to a town called Monroe near Lynchburgh ? last December. I trailered his '63 Corvair down, he drove his '66 Impala, & another friend took his father's Neon down. We all came back in my truck so he could pack his stuff to move.

I don't need it. It was part of the package. I just wanna use it for referance to where the wires go when I put it in the car. There are I believe 4 wires that were cut. You can have it when you send me one or two of those nice Venezuelan women you have in your country :D

We can work something out :yesnod:

Hey 1970 FE5 RR,

Nice car! I just got me one of them in Lime.

Yeah, working original rallye tach dashes from those are getting EXTREMELY rare...  You can keep an eye out and usually see plenty of dead-tach ones, so the rest of the dash holds little value - but that tach is a GREAT find!  Like someone else before, I gave up and got one of the near-$200 reproductions.  It's not visible to the normals, but I can see the difference in needle color.... *sigh*... oh well :)
