1974 Bumper fillers

Help,I'm having a heck of a time finding some replacment bumper fillers for my 1974 Charger.Any ideas where I can get some?Please e-mail me at wmlaing3@verizon.net if anyone can help.

Otherwise your only other option right now is to look for good used ones.

Many years ago when I had a '73 I called dealers all over the country that had the numbers listed. There weren't too many available even then. I actually had 2 complete sets of NOS fillers at one time (sorry, I've sold them all).  Sombody is hoarding them somewhere...

Be advised, there are two different styles out there (both have the same part number).  One is the flexible argent you are most likely familiar with.  The other is a more rigid plastic (Polypropelyne?) that is molded in a natural or off-white color that needs to be painted.  Both styles look and fit the same, but the more rigid type held up better on the shelf.  The flexible type were usually twisted or folded and sat that way for years which made them not look as good when installed.

I think you can get 72 bumper brackets and put them on which will help bring the bumper closer to the car.

Good luck finding those pieces. I would pull the bumpers in further till' Chargerkid makes them.
