I have been seeing some of these plates around. New optional plate this year. You could ask for these or get the standard plate. I got these for all four cars. Not available for scoots or they would have them too. No additional charge for these. I was surprised.

The thing conservatives don't understand about us "libruhl panzies" is that we SUPPORT things like this!  It's all good if you CHOOSE to put "in God we trust" on your government-sanction items, we just have a problem when there IS no choice.  What's wrong with that from either side, really? 

Anyway, the bottom line is, the conservative christians want to paint us as wishing to remove the Christian right's choice to express such things.  That's simply untrue.  What we want is for that expression to BE A CHOICE! 

With that in mind, optional things like this license plate are absolutely wonderful.

That would be nice to have. I must say that all of you guys have more options to put on plate comparing to "our" local plates. There is a possibility to have something different but not to exceed 7 numbers/letters (but you need to pay for it around $800  )

We love license plate controversy in Indiana.

When the current standard issue plate voted on and chosen by the public, the inscription at the bottom of the plate was "Back Home Again". When the plates were issued, they said "WWW.IN.GOV". Everybody freaked.

Now we're voting on the new plate due out next year: http://www.in.gov/bmv/vote/ . Wonder what new controversy will develop...

All too often, they have a knee jerk reaction anytime GOD or religion is even mentioned in any public forum (unless of course it is Islam, in which case they are absolutely free to believe and preach anything they wish) The truth is, I'd like everyone to excerise free agency too, even if it means they dont agree with my type of thought. I only want real choice to be available to all. Alot of folks seem to labor under the misguided belief that religion and govt. should never intermingle, the real original desire was to keep an oppresive govt. from demanding a certain faith over another, or none, that and the right to practice any religion of our choice. I think we've still got a ways to go to achieve what was originally written by the founders.

I love these new plates here in Indiana, I will be getting them as well. I see more of these than our standerd plate. I was pleasantly surprised to see these. I just can not get my personalized plate on this plate.

First mistake, the ASSumption that all those who react when God or religion is mentioned are Liberals.

Second mistake, not realizing that freedom from religion is just as important as freedom of religion.

I don't see it as the Libs reacting to that stuff so much as the Anti-Christ types. I'm not a religious person, but I think it's really lame how the Anti-Christ jerks out there just can't leave things alone...how they have been for 200+ years. It's just rediculous.

The plates? I like 'em & would probably get some for myself if I lived there. Why? Because they look good & I'm not offended by the words on the plate any more than I am of seeing them on every piece of currency I have in my pockets.
Now if it those words were in Spanish, I'd be PISSED!
