hey there guys i know this is not a mopar but i thought id share these pics of my old pick up it was bought new in norfork virginia by my unkle while he was in the NAVY. i restored it for him 12 years ago and he always told me when he couldnt keep up to it anymore it was gonna be mine well he delivered it to me last aug. and when he showed up with it the boxsides just about made me puke .....shortly after  i got done with it he took it home to loisianna and the pmimer failed on the boxsides and needed to be redone and he had a shop down there do the warrenty work via PPG and man did they ever make a mess of the bedsides ! well i hid it from sight til this spring , stripped them down redid them because being a body shop owner i couldnt stand driving it with the fear that someone would think i did the wavy job .....but anyway its ready for action again . let me know what you think of the old boy!!!

Always love the old trucks. Nice truck I would drive it, too bad it's not a Dodge but it's still something I'd be proud of.

I like it, its not my favorite body style but its still a classic.  I love mopar muscle cars but when it comes to trucks i'd take a chevy any day.

Looks great! I had a 68,69,70,71,78 C10 DD for a while many years ago. It had some parts from all those years. I put a 78 305 4bbl in it. I think it was titled a 69. Finally the cab mounts rotted away and the cab sunk. Then I sold it.

:2thumbs: I like it - although I lack the skill to make it look that nice.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

PocketThunder

It looks very nice.  I work with a guy who restored a '69 last summer.  Here http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,16609.0.html

Maybe i'll be bringing my C500 down for you to work on just yet.   Damn you do nice work.   :yesnod:

I really like those model years. My dad had a few of them. Maybe that is why. Anywho...nice work. Keep it stock!

Man that is nice! It even has AC. How about an engine bay shot?

Looks pretty darn straight! Like we expected anything else. ;)

I've always like that bodystyle on Chebbies & GMC's, they just look good. The only downside (in my opinion) is the flat dash & massive gauges. I'd probably grow to like it though, if I owned one. :)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

69 is beautiful body, my favorite style. local guy is selling project one for $800 but I need something 4x4 and I know once Id get it it couldn't be work truck it would be just show truck
