71 Charger headlight motor wiring question

I've had the wiring out of my car some time now. I've begun reinstalling the origianl dash harness. I can't find where the power wires for the headlight motor pass thru the firewall. According to my service manual, they are to pass thru a grommet. The only grommet I find even close, is on the other side of the power brake booster, near the inner fender. The harness doesn't seem to be designed for the wires to pass thru that grommet.

I could be wrong, but I think there are certain holes that were not cut out if you didnt have certain options.  SO maybe the hole you are looking for has never been cut out on your car?

This could be true, as I know my car did'nt originally come with hideaway headlights. They were added by the previous owner, but never hooked up.
