Turning the big 50 tomorrow,  :RantExplode: man I swear it was yesterday I walked home from High School my Senior year on my 18th birthday and saw my 70 R/T FK5 in the drive way waiting for me.  Man I miss that car, not to mention the years that have seem to have screamed by. Still blessed with good health though! ;)

Well, in case I don't see you tomorrow, here's your cake a day early (sorry, I ran out of candles). :icon_smile_big:

I'm currently 42 & I agree, it's crazy how time flies. In some respects it's as if I'm standing here watching myself get older in the mirror, before my very eyes...I still feel the same on the inside, but the outside looks & feels much different. Especially when I run a tiller, like I did last weekend...I'm still sore from that one. ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I'm 43, and I totally agree with you Grant. I hate getting older. On the other hand, I wish I knew what I know now when I was 18.  :icon_smile_dissapprove:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Slick!

Man, you guys are old. :o I'm only 40. :icon_smile_big:

What is it with the time thing as you get older? I swear it feels like my aging process went from normal to dog years after I turned 25.

I will be 41 in a little over a week and man the older I get the faster time flies.  My brother is 56, I can hardly believe it.  I remember when he was 30 and I thought he was getting old.  I am long past that.  I feel young at heart but my body (and the mirror) are telling me a different story.  Oh well, such is life I guess.

In the mid 50s now and time does accelerate as you age. Weeks are laughable, months are meaningless and years fly by. Things that seem like they may have happened last year or the year before are, in reality, 5 years in the past.

PocketThunder

stop it now.  i turn 32 next week and you guys are scaring me.. :o

You might want to fasten your seatbelt now PT cause I think I remember that being the age when I hit another gear.  Did I mention that my life seems to have highway gears?  :D

Happy upcoming 50.... I think. I know what you're talking about with time speeding by as the years advance; I'll be there myself next year, and it seemed like I was still in my 20's just last week..... oh well, I suppose it's better than the alternative, although somedays it seems as if the only way I know I'm still above ground is from the pain messages my joints and muscles are sending me.  :-\

I'm in my forty's also, seem like the average Charger driver is in the "Mid Life Crisis" range.
Happy birthday BTW!

Happy B-day ! It's only a number....you're as young as you feel.  ;)

:iagree: Especially the last sentence.
42 in a couple months.  I agree, PT needs to live it up while he can.  Time grabs second gear about his age, at least for me.  About 4 years ago I noticed the hair stopped growing on my head and started growing in my ears.  ;)  Lately, like since this summer I've noticed the ear hairs are turning gray like what's left on top.

Enough about that, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Slikk70!!!!!  Half a century.

RECHRGD

I can relate to this thread.  I turned 50 nine years ago and it seems like nine months ago.  All my parents and in-laws are gone now and it doesn't seem so long ago that they were MY age.  Maybe that perfect retirement nestegg goal is overkill.  I should retire soon and enjoy while I still can.  Bob

BTW Happy B/D ;D ;D

Thanks, for the well wishes, In reality I am thankfull to be healthy. My Mom passed away 27 years ago shortly before she turned 50. It has always stuck in my mind to hope to make it to this age with good health. Anyway, thanks again this site still rocks :coolgleamA:
