I dropped a metal planter on my foot today and I think I broke my foot, I got a UTI, and my MS is agravatting the crap out of me..I cleaned my whole house from top to bottom, washed all the walls, base boards, and steam cleaned the carpets...Cause Hubby is coming home in 8 days!!!!!!  Now I want to chill, but I think I have to go to the ER for my foot and I want a cranberry and vodka!  And all three of my kids and two dogs are trying to do everything to piss me off today.

dude where can i get some of that...

mmm.... Rum...

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

Rocky

It's a spiced rum kinda like Captain Morgan but not as syrupy sweet.  It is also 92 proof, so it has a nice kick to it.  I like it with coke zero and a splash of lime juice.

I get mine at BevMo basically a California liquor warehouse, it can be tough to find it sometimes.
Actually I think they ship to other states if you just go to www.bevmo.com  They have just about anything you can think of.

Oops, just checked their website.  They can only ship booze within CA.

On the topic of useless topics, when was the last time you guys actually had to purchase a pen? It used to be that when you went to the bank or grocery store the pens were chained to the counter. Nowadays they have tons of them lying around with the business' name printed on them and they encourage you to take them. I haven't bought a pen for years. I've probably saved $8 over the past five years! About 1,875 more years of that and I'll have saved enough to finish my Charger.

Speaking of pens and broken feet, my wife is the QUEEN of bringing pens home from work.  We will never run out, plus I usually end up collecting them whenever I am forced to go to one of those conferences where vendors all line up to give you free stuff.  (Last time I collected a nice free backpack plus a bunch of pens, notepads, kitchen clips, magnets, etc.)

Now on the subject of a broken foot, my wife slipped in water this winter and broke her foot.  She actually ripped the tendon away from the outside of her foot and it took a chunk of bone with it in the tear.  Very painful for her.  She was forced to wear a walking boot for about 8 weeks.  It was kinda funny cause my oldest daughter was very pregnant at the time so she was really waddling.   :D When they walked somewhere together I would say, here comes  :hah: "Hop-along and Waddles!"  Funny thing though, I usually had to enjoy my laughter on the run cause if I was within arms reach I would get popped one.  Still funny though.  :smilielol:

Today: I rented 'The Departed' and plan on watching it later tonight. I ate lunch at Quiznos. I spent two hours trying to pick my mother up at the airport. I made an appointment to have the safety recall F42 (unused wiring connector) taken care of on my Durango next week. I watched a very, very petite, thin woman get behind the wheel of a stretch limo at the McDonalds parking lot, back it into a bush and drive it away. It's 64.8-degrees Fahrenheit here right now.

Hey I actually turned off my answering machine the other day...I figure if it is importnat they will try and get back to me later.....I have caller id so If I go out I just check it when I come home to see if anyone that I want to talk to called, then I return their call if I feel like it.  As for the cell phone....I bring it with me in case of emergancies.....and believe me it has helped...I got hit the other week and had to call the cops..it was late at night and there were no buisnesses open for me to use a phone, plus I was with all three of my kids, downtown where there are a lot of loonies and bums....and once I was driving my challenger and the tire blew...I had no tools and needed to call hubby to come rescue me.....I love my cell sometimes

Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris
