can you dim those led bulbs?

yes they dim with the regular thumb wheel dimmer switch  ,  but i'm half blind so i love them i can see the gauges now  at night

maybe NOT!  i like white gauges but not on this car. mid 70's street racer daytona is what i'm building . if i could have built it back then . a fun car . i just got my new, old sun super tach from ebay . the car has a tic tac tach that works . but i want to put this one  where i can see it at a quick glance . plus i luv the way it looks . specially with the other chrome gauges on top of the dash.  batman is keeping an eye on things  :smilielol:  :cheers: :cheers:

very satisfied with the dash ,cleaned and rebuilt all switches and dials, new decals,   air brushed in all the missing wood grain . then cleared it with flat paint  . looks so much better  :cheers:

Is the woodgrain a plate that just slips over top of the standard black dash?  If so, any idea where a fella could get one?

Yes that's the way the R/T SE cars were equipped, basically a tin plate with the woodgrain decal applied.
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

my car is at Jacks place, Plum crazy body shop . will be there for a while there filming a reality show about the restoration of John Schneiders Last GL Charger .  my car is in the back round . there are 4 wing cars there 2 originals and 2 clones .
  when i get my car back the body will be finished and painted with it's new 6 pack motor . she's in good hands at her second home

jack was on car warriors and his team won . then he was on some collectors show . i think he got the tv bug . i bust his balls about it all the time. if my car was here it would be outside with a cover on it . so i'm just glad it's in his shop for the winter .  :cheers: :cheers:

they're just starting it now . there's a facebook page all about it . there calling the car the traveler .  :shruggy:
