   the tona  is a great driver too . i can drive her anywhere . all my cars are that way i get them mechanically tight before i do the bodies . like that i can play with them . while i build them .

i want to have this car ready for the winged warriors meet in Virgina next June  . i talked to Jack and he said he would like to go . that would be cool driving down there with 3 or 4 wing cars .

i plan on upgrading the tires , suspension and getting the headliner done during the winter .

thanks Bro , my collection is done for  now . although i want a real superbird and a gto in the future . i need to get a new house with enough space to build my dream garage .keep all my toys in one spot .  thats next . my cars now are kept outside under covers and  in car capsules  . thats why i'm leaving this one flat black for now .i'll paint it when i can store it inside l. i have a garage but it's small and full of motorcycles .

yea we have good Pizza  but i'll be glad to trade that for a big garage with a lift .

hey guys

  I've been driving the car a lot and having fun . it's amazing the reactions i get from people . even people telling me that other people told them they spotted a daytona on the highway . 

I've been working the bugs out of it . i eventually  i want to run 275 tires all around .

i trimmed the lower valance round , on the inside , my front tires where rubbing there . it looks good too . i have deep dish rims on the front now they don't rub . i had the car wheel aligned . it needed it bad .

i also enlarged the outside of the rear inner wheel wells . like that i can run big tires in the back and won't have to raise the rear of the car.

i was able to get rid of most of the body roll . i put the correct air pressure in the tires    oops . i only had about 18 lbs in the tires.  i am shopping around for a nice rear sway bar . if anybody knows where i can get one let me know please.

  i finished my 68 r/t 2 yrs ago . i just finished a to do list for it with 12 things on it and they'll be more things in the future . Rene

hey guys

  i put the nose to fender gasket in . when i close the hood the rubber gasket would separate from the nose , with a flat piece of steel . so we went to home depot and found aluminum angle iron . worked great . like that the hood closes against the rubber and the rubber against the aluminum .

  i tighten up the hood pins and the hood closes great . doesn't shake at all at high speeds .

i also put new se emblems .

I'm not happy with the nose to fender rubber yet . i got some new stuff that i think will work a lot better . that's tomorrows project . Rene

I'm already wishing that I had left the SE emblems on my car, but like a dummy, I welded up the holes and drilled new holes for the repro Charger emblems. The repro Charger emblems fit like crap. Anyone have a nice set of originals that they would sell ?

I got mine from Doug Schellinger 4 years ago when I redid my car - see if Doug still has some.
