hey guys

we worked till after midnight last nite but we got the plug , drip rail ,spacer up top roughed in . the trunk even locks . thank you hotrod98 , Larry . for my converted trunk lid and  you were rite it's easier to shorten the sheet metal on the driprail . then to use it with alot of metal . i used a little seam sealer in the corners . we got a nice curve to the bottom of the hatch . matches the trunk lid exact. so no need to use much bondo.
  now i just need my hinges and wing washers from daytonalo and i can finish the back of the car . Larry you out there ,hinge's my friend . Rene

Sam is that a vega hatch you used?? It looks good, cant wait to get mine started. hopefully within the next week or two.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

  thank you for your complements , the drip rail came out of a 73 charger . it's not a perfect fit but its real close and it has the correct curve. Rene

there relief cuts, so you can get the bottom of the hatch to bow a little in the middle . Rene
