I spelt it like that on purpose :lolexplode:. I think it's the ugliest charger combination there is, orange with beige interior, I never liked the show, it rates right up there with knight rider.

You dont like David Hasselhoff?  :shruggy:
"Liberalism is a disease that attacks one's ability to understand logic. Extreme manifestations include the willingness to continue down a path of self destruction, based solely on a delusional belief in a failed ideology."

Don't get me wrong, I just think it's rather pointless to go all gaga over a fictional character, like the general lee. There were so many chargers destroyed making the show. Any charger from 66-74 are potentially a cool car. My personal favorite is a 69 charger 500. I tend to be a character that leans more to indiviualism rather than fad.  ;D

Sounds like you're still pissed at your parents for not letting you wear Spiderman underwear as a kid. :'(

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

It's not an assload of General Lee's. It's a load of asses IN General Lee's.
Malicious, vindictive, spiteful, cynical, pessimistic, sarcastic, & antagonistic. And those are my good traits!

At first...when people started buildng General Lee's, I thought it was cool.. The Wow factor was there.  But now, I'm starting to dislike General Lee's. I can't see why they have such a following, and why people continue to build these things  :icon_smile_question: :icon_smile_question: :icon_smile_question: How many does the world need?? Build them to stock or jump the M-Fer's.... show's over folks!  (okay, let the ugly responses start)

LOL, you guys are too funny.  I have one and I really don't think I'm an a$$.  Hey, it's just what I wanted, it's not concourse and it's what I could afford and i'm having fun. I'm 40 years old and maybe i'm finally getting to live a dream that i've had since I was 13-18 YO.  So hate it if you want but that is the way some of us have to do it.
I'm proud to drive my Charger and have a ton of fun in it.  If and when I win the lotto, then I will worry about having the 100pointer, and oh yes, I will have one. :icon_smile_big:

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Yeah, it's worth putting a few frowns onto the faces of a few car guys in the process of putting smiles on everyone else's.

As far as the number of Chargers destroyed by the show, there have probably been more than 300 Chargers destroyed by drunk drivers (only about 13 chagers, though).  But I don't post a lecture every time someone says something about their beer hobby.
Matt. 14:8 (KJV) "And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, 'give me here John Baptist's head in a Charger.'"

Hmmm last time I checked in I thought everyone loved one another, I have some time to do some reading and find out us General Lee owners are asses. As it has been discussed a million times before why bash guys for building what they want? I don't understand the rationality of rather seeing a car scrapped rather than restored and put back on the road..obviously everyone has diffrent income levels and wether it is a resto as an original or a replica they are all cool to me guys! Why make statements that you know for sure will piss people here off. I would not think of bashing not one of the cars on this site no matter how nice or poorly done. Its about the people and the cars...not that I am some expert I just think it is disrespectful when postings like this are allowed to remain. JUST "AN ASS IN A GENERAL LEE'S"OPINION

Yeah I agree.  That is bull...  So I suppose everyone who has a black 68 Charger is an ass too, because its a "Bullitt" clone and they destroyed that car in the movie too.   :scratchchin: ::)

I am not trying to make a bigger deal out of it than what it is but to me it is simply common courtesy to one another, everyone has a right to their opinion, however everyone has a right to their own tastes in the hobby. If I owned a mint Daytona Charger (which I think are awesome) along with many, many other mopars, I would not put myself on a pedastal and knock others vehicles to make myself feel better or more superior about mine. Why not instead of knocking those people help those that are less fortunate by giving them a part here and there or selling it cheap. I tell you what my car was a freaking old 318 original heap that had sat in a barn for 20+years pilfered beyond belief, if it wasn't for all the wonderful mopar non self indulgent asses out there my car would still be sitting on a dirt floor. I do not have silver lined pockets but had the desire to build what i thought would make me and my family happy. I will never forget I was searching high and low for upper door pads for my 69 and Ebay was through the roof and most wanted a mint for 30+ year old pieces. I was turned onto a Mopar guy who lived in Pennsylvania a long way from Iowa, we talked for several hours about chargers and cars, he sold me all four of my uppers two years ago for $60+shipping. I was like are you sure cause they are going for alot more...he said " I am just glad to be able to help another individual that has the dream to put another one of these cars back on the road" I got those uppers and they were awesome with no cracks and the emblems looked even great still. It is people like that that make this hobby enjoyable..people helping people! I know there are alot of you here like that and it made me think when I was selling parts. It's not always about the money, it's called humanity! Sorry for my rant guys but my general lee ass got a bit chapped :RantExplode: :flame:

One last thing when I got my car running and drove it for the first time, I was not thinking how great it is to own a General Lee, I was in awww of just driving the car I waited over 30 years to own or drive. It was a time machine for me and truly kinda a rush. These cars will always be my drug of choice :D

Can't we all just get along???

We are united here by a common love of all things Charger.

We should all respect any Charger - regardless of engine size, restoration status, or running condition.

To me, America means individual freedom & tolerance!!

Oh and man I love those General Lee jumps every year.  Those ROCK too!
