Nice 300m for a first time driver. My son turned 16 in March, had planned to give him a 69' charger this summer, he turned it down, wanted a mustang instead, still no ride for him yet, hes on his own to buy a car. It was his choice, but yes, I am gonna help him find the right car still, even though it may be a dif' brand.
Mark

He turned down a '69???????????????? :o

Not a 300m its a 2000 Concorde LXI. Its got leather, cd changer in the dash ,power everything and 45K miles.Should get her through the rest of high school and college.Best of all I got it for $4,000!

We got my son a car a few months ago...even though I offered, he turned down a muscle car and opted for a ford focus. At least it's good on gas! It's funny now that he has to buy his own gas, he doesn't want to go to as many places as he did when we were driving him around...lol. Like Mark's boy, my son's first choice was a mustang  :flame:

So she drive the Charger yet?

Taught my daughter to drive in a Caddy and my 70 383 Cuda. Scared the shit out of me one time! One of the two lanes was closed under a bridge. Car beside us and tolds Sharyon "give some gas"! Next thing I hear was the 4 barrel kicking in! ??? Workman where running when the heard the Cuda open up.

Went from 30 to 70 and all most blew the light that was another 400 feet! Well we got in front of the other car with out trading paint so that was good.

Hee, Hee, Hee, should have seen the look on the guy faces from the license branch when she showed up to take her test. ;D Looked like he was going to fill his pants when she open the door of the Cuda.

Her foot is way heaver than mine. But he does not fix what is broken, I do that.

I see no problem.  He just likes mustangs.  Not a damn thing wrong with that.  "To each, his own."
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

Hey Jaak that wasn't me in Huntsville. There must be a few other Y3 R/Ts out there. Ken..my daugther asked when she can drive the Charger. I watched her pull up friday night and rub the curb pretty good. I told her once she learns how to park she can. I can't have here ruin a $150.00 red line! :o

defiance

Dang...  I turned 16 and got a used s-10.  Yes, I had to pay for it, but got vetoed on anything I wanted that was cool...

Even then, I knew better than to turn down a '69 charger... especially for a mustang...  Yeah, mustangs are OK.  all eleventy billion of 'em!!!!!
