I finally found two clear shots of both a 22 inch and a 26 inch B body rad support.
I overlaid them in photoshop and produced this picture.
I've been considering the logistics of cutting a 22 inch version down to make a 26 inch variation. By comparing the two, you can see the similarities and the differences.
I figure I've probably got what it takes to do the job of converting one to make the other.
Before I go ahead though, I'll ask the obvious: has anybody attempted to do this at home, without adult supervision?

I also think the driver side has some small differences as well.

A friend of mine claims he's done it but I'm not so sure.  When I look at his car, there is absolutely no evidence of it whatsoever.  I'll ask him for specifics all the same and see what he says.

I haven't done it yet, but it's in the works. I found a 26" core support and I'm going to use just the two upright pieces from the 26" unit and the car's original top and bottom bars. That way all the holes will (hopefully) be in the right place and the rad and everything else will fall into place.

A 26" core support should set you back $100-$150. Might be worth it in terms of reduced labor and quality of finished product.

the driverside is a small amound dif but it can be gotten away with i modded my radiator supt on my 68 rr clone vert i just mounted the radiator on the drivers side and cut the pass side with a wizzer slid the piece over scribed it cut the chunk out butt welded it in ground it and a very min amount of filler and it was undetectable.............. these arent very good pics but they are all i have of that area

That's what we need to do on the '70 Roadrunner that I'm working on. Remember the rad. shroud has to be in the middle of the fan, so it can't be very far off in any direction. ???

I've already made my request with PG classics with regards to reproducing a 26" support for 66-70 B bodies...now lets see if they actually follow through on customers' suggestions!! (Before I take matters into my own hands).

Good job!
I went and bought a rad support off of eBay...
Seemed like the easier thing to do.
Ironically, the picture you're using for a reference is the actual rad support I bought.
