OK, I guess I can let the cat out of the bag on this one  :yesnod:  I used some black basecoat.  I sprayed one medium wet coat for coverage, then once that flashed for about 20 minutes, I took the gun, turned the fan all the way off so it shot a straight stream, held the gun back about 15 inches and dusted a very dry coat of basecoat (Utech Polybase).  It's a reduced and activated basecoat so it will hold up to the elements.  No clear over top of it.
