That sucks,  it is just starting to get hot there.  Take plenty of DEET for the skeeters too, if you are in an area where they are a problem.  I remember counting over 35 bites on my left hand alone.  Those things drove me nuts.  :brickwall:

Semper Fi,
    Rocky

Thanks Rocky.. Have the DEET AND sunblock....... This whiteboy burns ever-so easily........ Last time I was there in '05, it was normal to be 130 to 140 degrees.. So, this time it should be so hot.. I'm just glad the rainy season's over.... Wouldn't want to be wading through all the muds...... Never had one problem with the mosquitoes, was too dry.........

Yeah, hubby is over there now and he has said that it has been raining like every day there..It's gotta suck.  good luck and return to us soon!  LIke I tell hubby keep your head an ass down out there!  And keep your eyes open for anything that looks out of the ordinary not just on the other side of the gate, but inside the camp too....you never know when one of your "buddies" will lose it and start blasting away...it has happened....

Where abouts are you going to be? I'm over there (here) right now. The heat isn't too bad yet. It only gets in the 90's during the day so far. The wet season wasn't very wet, it only rained 4 times here in the past 3 months I have been here. Good luck to you buddy, and I hope everything goes well for you!

Well, I can't say on this forum.... BaseX...

Troy, have a safe one there, bro!  Do you guys do the Wacky Wednesday mefloquin thing like we did in Afghanistan?  That always helps to pass the time!  :icon_smile_big:  Stay safe and I'm sure your beast will be nicely painted for you when you get home.

Cheers,
Duey

p.s.  Bradley, buddy, since we never got to hook up in BAF, I'll be coming down some time in the summer...is your 6A and 6B still the same as at BAF or do you have some new guys up the chain?  You'll have to show me the Wombat, only seen Spooky and Tal1's.
