Help with a Saturn, please.

Not a Mopar, I know.... daughters car. Can anyone give me  clue as how to replace the P/S half-shaft? Getting the hub, spindle, etc. off seems to be fairly straightforward, but does the shaft just slide out of the trans.? Any special puller required? Thanks for any and all help.

They are held in with a circlip, They will pop out with a big prybar and just the right technique, not really prying but quick snap of the wrist while prying.
