Someone brought me this air cleaner today because they knew I needed one for my 400 2bbl in my 73 Charger.  It doesnt fit my car, the hole is too big so its from a 4bbl car.  Interesting it has a 413 decal on it.  Any idea what this could have come from or what it might be worth?

A chrysler with a 413. Possibly an Imperial. Could also have been in a big truck.

i agree motor home. they put 413's in them long after they quit putting them in cars

That might be. a 70s motorhome. Thats not a 60s 413 aircleaner thats for sure. they looked entirely different.

Charger1973

Cool thats real possible there are some old motorhomes out there.  I wonder if one of them still has a 413 in it then.   :scratchchin:

Because of the style of the cleaner, I'd guess 70-71. Probably truck or motorhome. It has the same snorkel as my 70 440 mag aircleaner.

I think those air cleaners kind started on 72, but pretty sure is truck or motorhome, since 413 wasn't anymore available on passenger vehicles since mids to lates 60s.

Another signal of engine/air cleaner cames from 72 and laters is the detuned 413 ( 265 HP )... they were MORE powerfull on 60s

I have seen that same air cleaner with one snorkel on some 440s Rallies, but they have/had a vacuum controled  door on bottom to increase air flow.

I haven't entered on Nick's website... but here is what I talk:

it looks also on 340s

however clearly isn't teh same either since there is not a vacuum on snorkel

That extra vacuum controlled flap is pretty cool, I haven't seen that before.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Speaking of campers, check out my '76 Dodge Brougham. It has a 360.

Ok part 2....  I just picked this one up today, the hole looks like its the right size but I havent tried to fit it under the hood yet.  Looks really deep to me.  Anyone know what it could have come from??

Just my luck.   :P   Still, cant complain because the price was right.  ;)  Im just looking for something to get me by, but I have a feeling this one wont work.

The70RT

Try eBay but you are probably not the only one needing one.

If you get a longer bolt coming out of the carb that one may work if it doesnt hit the hood.

I checked it, would have worked if it was shorter but the hood wont close.  I was just looking for temporary one as an alternative to buying one since money is pretty tight right now.

Ya better go with a cheap chrome one then. You may be able to recoup some money off of tose though an eBay.

AWESOME!! My friend and neighbor across the street from me has a 1980 Shasta like that with a Chevrolet Van chassis. It has a 4 bolt 350. Neat thing is,it only had 8,500 documented miles on it when he bought it!!

The thing is a "survivor"!!

The original guy bought it new in 80, his wife died shortly after, he used it as playhouse to smoke cigarettes in ! We had to clean nicotine of everything, but it cleaned up real nice!
