I posted a thread on another forum about this company in IL that does General Lee restomods.  I have contacted them regarding getting my hands on a '69 charger (not a Gerneral Lee) and someone told me to post here about it and said that I'd be shocked and for me to stay away from them.  The name of the company is LudeTKE, anyone heard of anything about them?

Thanks!

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

WOW, thanks.  Totally dodged a bullet here.  I think I'll be asking for my $500 deposit back now, or just denying the charge... :flame:

Deny the charge.  I doubt they'd give you a refund.   They are thieving bastages.  Run away and don't look back.

If you only lose a total of $500 to them I'd still consider it fortunate. But yea, deny the charge and run! And don't look back!

Don't even waste a second of your time asking for a refund, just go straight to deny the charge.   Don't even think about it, just do it.

I live in IL, and I drove up there one day.  The guy who was showing me cars was very honest, basicly they had alot of junk and in not so many words he told me that.  I doubt this guy was an owner.  Most of the cars this guy described to me in person, were described much differently on the net.

Dang. If they had put that backlight up any higher, it would be a sunroof.  ;D  How the heck are you supposed to see out of that thing?

Well, it's pretty difficult to lie when the car is sitting right there. I'm sure they count on unseen internet sales for the bulk of their profits. I mean, if it weren't for their internet deception I don't think they'd sell anything would they?

Maybe that's what makes it "ultra rare & one of a kind". :smilielol:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Well, anything you create once is a one of one.

Especially if you screw it up like that because no one will want you to make another....

That ad is pretty deceiving - to the untrained eye at least.

No where - except the web page address - does it say Daytona.
From the description, it's certainly NOT a Daytona - small block A/C Daytona????

and 25K for a messed up clone with no interior or drivetrain?  :image_294343:

70charger_boy

HOLY COW!!  THAT IS A VERY, VERY RARE SMALL BLOCK DAYTONA.  ONLY 24,999 AMAZING HFAG RECREATION.  I KNOW THAT WON'T LAST.!!!!!!

Old Moparz

Wonder if this is the same car.  :shruggy:

At the bottom of this ebay ad, there is an offer of a Daytona replica that looks like the same car to me.
