My fenders are off, so I cannot measure. How much longer do I need to extend the slot to get the bumper in snug with the fender, like 71-72's?

I took my braces off, elongated the holes about 2 inches, mounted back on the bumper, removed the side impact fillers and slid it right in. Not hard at all. The upper braces are adjustable so not a problem.
