30 year old shock absorbers

Are 30-35 year old shock absorbers any good? Cause i found six of them still in there boxes under a garage floor that have never been used. they have some rust on them from the ends of all the boxing falling apart.
Its no disgrace being poor.  Its just inconvienient.

I think they would be fine as long as the hydro fluid didnt leak out  (if they indeed are NOS orig style shocks)
