Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

How did you come to find this guy and his stash?

Thanks for sharing the photos.   :yesnod:

Now, how did you come to find this guy and his stash?

skip68

Well Shakey, I was doing my normal thing of driving down back roads looking for cars.     I found a 73 RR and some other cars at a place and asked if they were for sale. The RR was but it's got too much rust for me. Anyway's,  I was telling my brother about the RR and he said he might know a guy that has some old cars. You see, my brother doesn't know cars so when I said Roadrunner he was thinking like a Firebird.  ::) He showed me the guys house but it was late so I figured I'd go back in a day or so.  When I went back I met the guy and got talking for awhile and he said he had no mopars but did have some 80's mustangs and 70's Firebirds and Camaro's. This guy used to haul cars for a living back in the day for scrap. Well we kept talking and I was telling him about my car and he said "Oh, you mean the cars with the gas cap on top of the fender?"  :yesnod: He then told me about his buddy that used to buy all the mopars from him and said he had 2 original hemi cars and like 100 plus other mopars. Man I was thinking OH MY GOD.  :o  He told me the town and road the guy lived on but didn't know the address. But that was all I needed.  I thanked Bubba C. (which was his name by the way) came home and found the road on mapquest. Then I did the satellite photo's and just looked for a place that had lots of cars and I found three.  I went out the next day and knocked on doors and found the guy on the second knock.  And the rest is history.    Chuck..........

Find out how much he would want for one of those 69 Charger's. I see some parts on a few of them that I'd be interested in.

Using satellite photos to find hidden chargers...how space age is that!!

hemi-hampton, That last picture is a real R/T 6pk car that he has had since 1974.  He said it's a 69  :ahum:  Maybe he put 70 doors on it? I'll check the V.I.N.  When he got the car in '74 the engine had already been changed so the 6pk is gone.  BUT, for some reason I bet he's got a 6pk setup out there.  :icon_smile_big:  Man, he's had that car for 33 years.  :o    Chuck..............
