Bought it today. Fairly solid. Someone put a 260 V-8 with dual exhaust and a 9" rear gear.

It should. It is basically a Mustang underneath, and There are few I know of that have 289's in them. And a 351 is a small block too. Maybe you can use a few of these links I gave you.
