440 timing specs

I have a 75 440. I need to know where to set the timing. Also, what makes this a HP motor versus a regular 440?

5=1975 model year
T=Trenton engine plant
440 cubic inches
E= cast crank
HP= HP version

Start with 12* at idle and see how it runs.
