Are all 22" 2 piece metal shrouds from 63-68 b bodies the same? Also, what number 22" radiator was used in a 68 Charger with a 4 speed? Did that radiator use a 2 piece meatl shroud?

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Looks like I have the correct radiator, 2898043. Did this radiator use a 2 piece metal shroud or a plastic shroud? If metal, are all the 2 piece22"  metal shrouds from 63-68 the same?

Anybody have a pic, part number, of the 68 22" 2 piece shroud and mounting brackets? I already have an 043 radiator but it is buried and can`t get to it. I know it doesn`t have a shroud on it right now.

Every time I've seen one of those shrouds for sale (maybe twice in the past five years) they are gobs of money and usually missing some or all the hardware that holds the two pieces together and/or holds the shroud to the radiator. IIRC the 4 speed and auto shrouds are the same. If not I'm really screwed because I have a 4-speed. 8WHEELER on this site knows a lot about these shrouds and still has at least one on one of his '68s.

Come to think of it, I don't even have a shroud on my 383's radiator.  That is probably not good huh?
IIRC that shroud is important.

Ok, I'm looking for a shroud for a 69 charger.  383 original radiator :icon_smile_tongue:
