In my book anyway! I took the Hemi out for its first run of the year to get her (and my) juices flowing. It was nice to row through those gears again. I almost forgot how nice it was. She's going to need some odds and ends in the wrench turning department but nothing big, a little cranky coming off idle and some new squeaks. Got to clean out the carbs a little, I forgot just how snotty she can be. A couple of more weeks and my carbon footprint will get a lot bigger!!!!  Nothing like 'ol rumpty rump to get you in a good mood and break the winter blues!

im jealous...currently neck deep in wiring and header installation and trying to tie things up before it gets warm....but i do live in WI so I guess i have time lol

Charger1973

Awesome.  I am so ready for warmer weather!  It wasnt bad here today actually, and I think tomorrows supposed to be good too.  I got my Charger running about the time it got dark today, so I have a little more testing to do.  Tomorrow im hoping to get it out on the road at least for a quick spin.

Ghoste

Took the 67 out today and cleaned a little carbon out of it.  Kept the window down and the heat on full blast.   :icon_smile_big:

moparjohn

Had mine out too, had a faulty altenator so replaced that and all is well.  had the sunroof open and the heat one :icon_smile_cool:

John,

You'd probably have the sunroof open in that thing if it was snowing.  (Of course, I would also if I had that car.)

I'm glad yours is running again John.  I know it's a while ago, but I hadn't been following your engine adventures.   :icon_smile_big:

Man, I can't wait to start driving mine again.
I'm waiting for the first spring rains to wash off that winter road crud. Still WAAAAY too much salt on the roads for me.

We lucked out here.  It was all cold and cruddy last week and then a few days of heavy rain and the sun popped out.  The roads were clear and dry enough to get out the Charger and the temps are in the 50* range.  A few snow banks in the sheltered shady spots yet just to give it that first day feeling.

Brian, your almost right! Ghoste, it was the longest 3 months of my life,  some of my close friends said they were glad to see the car back because I was miserable w/out it.  Now I have a few thing to smooth out B/4 the season hits.

Way to go Doug !!!  I too took Dana for more than just a neighborhood trip last night...... Seems to be running a little warm, so maybe the thermostat needs replacing..... But, other than that, she ran beautifully.........

Love that '69 of yours......

It must be nice to leave in the northwest just inside the mountain range not awhole lot of snow.  Some rain, but other than that it has alot of nice days to go crusing.  Can't wait to get my car done but it will still be awhile still.

Weds it was in the 70's here.  I was planning on taking the Chally for a spin today.  Yesterday we got almost 12 inches of snow. :brickwall:

mikepmcs

I got you beat.  All day I was plowing with continuous sleet.  I'll take snow over that any day(real heavy on the plow)

12 hours total in the truck today with a couple breaks in between.   I think this is the last one though.  Phew!

Hey, how come you ain't tendin' tonight??  Big money!
