Did anybody watch the finally last night? Both of the 350Z's were having problems, the 06 Corvette was having problems, the 69 Camaro screwed up the tranny or the driveshaft and the only cars left were Angela Cope in the 06 Mustang and Clarence Barnes in the 73 Challenger. The Chally was doing great and he looked like he was sure to win because the Stang was 1 1/2 laps behind him. Then he came into the pits for gas and I still cant believe they screwed up and found out the Stang was actually on the same lap as the Chally. And then when the Stang passed the Chally on the last corner on the last lap and won the whole competition and the 100k, I was amazed. I really wanted the Chally to win.

Did anybody else watch it?

Watched it....too bad the messed up on where the stang was....they Chally would have had it. Lost by about 20 feet too.

at least American car won, that way import guys cant talk shit about american cars this time.

I could have swore I saw the Challenger pass the Mustang another time just before he went in for gas.
Too hard to figure out with how they edited it.
I did like that Lou Gigliotti [ corvertte team mgr]  questioned the outcome , and that his car broke - it was the ringer car of the field.

Finally the Chally redemmed itself !
