Homosexuals working to get Marine general punished for comments calling homosexual act immoral

Urgent Action Needed Now!

Homosexual activists want Marine General Peter Pace forced out of the service because he called sex between two homosexuals immoral.

Exactly what did General Pace say which upset the homosexual leaders?  "I believe homosexual acts between two individuals are immoral and that we should not condone immoral acts.  I do not believe the United States is well served by a policy that says it is OK to be immoral in any way.

"I would not want acceptance of overt homosexual behavior to be our policy, just like I would not want it to be our policy that if we were to find out that so-and-so was sleeping with somebody else's wife, that we would just look the other way, which we do not.  We prosecute that kind of immoral behavior"

Homosexual leaders said that General Pace's comments were "insulting and offensive to the men and women who are serving in the military honorably."  Homosexual groups are putting tremendous pressure on Congressmen and Senators and President Bush to punish General Pace. The liberal media is strongly supporting the homosexual efforts.  They have already forced him to back down a step.   Also, read what the Human Rights Campaign says.

Presently the military operates on a "don't ask, don't tell" policy.  The homosexual activists want the military to approve their immoral behavior. Take a stand for our troops who cannot get involved in this political situation!

Take Action
Send an email to President Bush, who is the commander-in-chief of our armed forces.  Ask President Bush to praise General Pace for upholding military law.
Please forward this to your friends and family and ask them to send an email to President Bush.

Urgent: Send Your Email To President Bush

If you think our efforts are worthy, would you please support us with a small gift? Thank you for caring enough to get involved.

Sincerely,

Donald E. Wildmon, Founder and Chairman
American Family Association

P.S. Please forward this e-mail message to your family and friends!

Sorry but I will never support anyone who prosecutes spouses who have an affair.  That is where the conservative movement (and all its supporters) loses all credibility with the majority of Americans.  How dare they put themselves in the middle of human relations, and to prosecute as a crime, c'mon.  Kick the bum out.  Kim

Because in this country for now at least you are still allowed to have a personal opinion. I see the taliban of political correctness want to chop the head off this General for have a belief that goes against their gods of political correctness.

Just FYI  when you see the Media report "the military has discharged over 100,000,000 service men for homosexuality" trying to show it's a wasteful witch hunt what they do NOT tell you is about 80% of the people separated self-identify during basic or technical training when they realize they don't like the military or didn't get the job they want. By saying "I'm gay" gets them a general discharge and home to mommy. About 10% are involved in crimes (like the AF Capt conviced of raping 5 men) and the remaining 10% are classified as "other"
I know this because I've seen it over an over in the past 23 years in the AF

One could easily say it goes the other way...who is to say that this General's opinion is any more valid than the Gay Rights groups?

If anyone, man or woman, gay or straight is willing to lay his or her life down for his or her country, then he/she should be allowed to do so without recriminations or insults.

Personally, I think ol' Reverend Wildmon is one of those guys who likes to hang out in bus station bathrooms and rest areas after midnight.
I ain't got time for pain, the only pain I got time for is the pain i put on fools how don't know what time it is.

Wow. :rotz:

...Flintstone ideologies from a Flintstone theology...

I find it ironic to speak of overzealous political correctness and then to agree with the likes of Donald E. Wildmon; a man who has tried to have everything from Disneyworld to the television show M.A.S.H., put on his imperial-moral-banned-list.

The man is just right of Joseph Goebbels (and just as ignorant/bigoted).  Please do some research.

The whole premise is ridiculous. Wildmon is a hypocrite, NOTHING is good enough for this guy unless he is controlling everything you see and hear because he believes most any form of entertainment is immoral.  He calls himself a Christian conservative, but he is more of a wannabe Hitler. I CAN NOT support somebody like that.

As far as the General, This IS a FREE COUTRY you can speak your mind, BUT along with that comes the realization that there ARE consequences to what you say and do. You have a personal RESPONSIBILITY to stand for what you say and do.

As far as his opinion, I can see where he is coming from, but I fail to see how a person's sexual orientation determines their worth as a soldier.

As long as the soldier does their job well, I have no problem with him or her.

BMOTOXSTAR

Military folk are so conservative. Why should the military care who or what you have sex with.
Maybe the General should not judge a person and not worry about who the person is screwing, stick to fueling the war machine.  :Twocents:
The general sounds like he has some Broke Back Mountain issues!  :haha:

68CHRGRWIFE, you really know how to stir up some controversy. :blahblah: :blahblah: :Twocents:
