Kansas today.....78 here. It is tornado awarness day today. It wont be long before those pesky bastards start popping up. I am like a mile from where the 66 one ripped through 40 years ago. At the time biggest one ever.

I'm done with the snow and I'm getting ready for movie weather and working on the cars. I almost unloaded the GTX today and worked on it.



I was driving across I-80 at night in God forsaken Wyoming a few years back and the entire drive was filled with massive cloud to cloud lightning with no rain. For the entire drive to Nebraska we had an awesome light show, you hardly needed headlights!

I remember the tornado's in Illinois though when I was little. I liked them then but don't think I would now with my property to lose.

A tornado has already hit south of here about a week ago.  Was in a rural area, but still took out several houses, barns, grain bins, tractors, etc, etc.  The thing was on the ground well into Missouri.

Hailed 3 different times here in the suburbs in a 12 hour period that day.  Looked like snow on the ground.

I'm done too! But you know how it is around here, just when you think it's safe to call it spring, we get two more weeks of winter.

when i was in the corps in 89-91 down in Parris Island (right next to beufort, SC) man, we would sit out up on the  balconies in the baracks with some brew & just watch the lightning storms!!!!!!!!! man that was some show!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhh good times!!!!!

well im looking out the window here in newcastle uk.and yep u guessed it,its raining,no tornadoes no storms  no sun.just good ole fashiond british rain,you know it really does stink here..jim
