Hi guys. My car is not on the road yet, I still have to pull the Hemi out of the Cuda. Breaks my heart to disable the Cuda.  I am trying to piece together another Hemi for it but I still need one head, rods and rocker assembly. Plus, if I decide to freshen up the numbers matching Hemi, it is going to take more time and money. It runs fine now, but I may want to put in new main and rod bearings while it is out. (I hope I can restrain myself from turning the motor into another 20 year project). Miss talking to everyone, but between working 10 hour days and competing with my son on the computer, I just can't get on very often. Think Spring! MsMopar

Yeah, I know. But that doesn't mean I don't sneak on the computer once in a while to my favorite website to read what is going on. I just don't have time to post. My true passion will always be 69 Chargers, even though I have a few other Mopars in the shed.  :yesnod:  ;D  MsMopar

Cheers,

Hi Vicki!

My spouse and i are going to visit friends in Antioch this summer so we'll be sure to stop in and share Charger stories if you're up for it.

Welcome back, Ms. Mopar.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Hey why hasn't this been moved to the Aero Section yet?

Glad to see you posting.

If I recall the car is painted, correct? I think you sent me a photo of it painted, and rolling down the street on a rotisorie, or am I thinking of the wrong HEMI 500?

And if I recall, wasn't there a question on whether or not your car had the tail stripe on it when it was new? I also don't remember if you ever mentioned having the braodcast sheet to your car? I have found some broadcast sheets, or know people who have them, that might go to your car. I know I have one for a F8 green HEMI 500.

MsMopar

Wow, I didn't know I got so many replies. Good to know you guys haven't forgotton me! Yep, Car is painted. It is now a rolling Chassis. Just needs engine, Trans and interior installed. I think I am going to leave the stripe off for a while. I know it was bought new without one. I suspect that will be the first question anyone who knows 500's will ask me, but it makes it unique. Everyone will know my car when they see it. If I get tired of explaining why it is not there I can add one later. MsMopar

MsMopar, I don't know if I ever knew the answer to this one or not, but I'm assuming you have the broadcast sheet to your car as I remember like Dave said you looking for the Kelsey Hayes wheels. Was your car ordered with those?

nascarxx29

barnfindcuda

hi msmopar, i just have to tell ya, i saw your car this past year when is stopped  by the shop, it looks awsome!  i stopped bye to tell ralph a while back that the guys here were asking where you were.  when ya pull the hemi out of the cuda ,you can just discard the body my way! lol, if you can make that rt/se  look as good as your 500 you will have a couple of really cool and rare chargers!  hope to see the 500 out soon!  :icon_smile_approve:

69_500

I'm still waiting to finally see the 500. She has been teasing us for about 4-5 years now with the car. Not to her fault, but due to some bad timing of events at one shop, and rather unfortunate accident.s
