74 Charger Rallye Package

My Charger does not have the Rallye code. It was built in the St. Louis plant not the Lynch Rd plant. I have heard that the Chargers at the Lynch Rd. plant can have the Rallye package but not have the code on the fender tag.  I have power disc brakes, power steering,front/rear sway bars. My Rallye hood is from a 73. suspension is origiinal as far as what I have been told by the previos owner. My Charger is a A07 and a A77(Spring Specical/Celebrity full vinyl roof). It is also a sales Bank car. Is it possible that it could be a Rallye?

Possible? Sure but not likely as it's not coded on the tag.  IIRC, all those options were available on a non-Rallye car anyway.

this set up is for 73... I don't have any reason to think is different for 74, beside 340 wasn't anymore option, and 360 entered in to scene

Rallye Package: Bulge hood, hood tie-down pins, black or red "gradated" body stripe, front and rear sway bars, F70X40 raised white letter tires, Rallye instrument panel (hooded, circular gauges with raised white letters, including a speedo, ammeter,oil,temp,and fuel.)  318V8 standard rallye engine.   340 4 barrel and 440 4 barrel V8 with bright tip duals at extra cost on the ralley. 340 was only available with the rallye.  440 also came with the S.E. package.

How about we really find out what we're looking at....is the car coded for J45 or J54? What is the stripe code? Can you post a pic of the tag?

I'm not seeing codes (A57, J45 J54) associated with Rallye cars..sorry.

That's ok. He is a Spring special/Celebrity Roofed car.
