Oh damn..that's 2 out of the last 3 Mikey has made it in. I'd love to see a Toyota win at Michigan, just to piss off all the haters.

Looks like that '06 nose didn't help kasey very much...

am I? Vickers runs pretty well whenever he actually makes a race. Don't forget he could have just as easily been the one that "stole" the Coke 600.

Stole the 600 - he led for quite a few laps.  If he had of won it, it would have been well deserved.

Definitely deserved....by 'stole' I meant the same way Mears won and Petty pulled a top 5 - gambling and strategy. But youre right..he was out front all day.

I heard last night on Speed channel when they were talking with Bobby LaBounty, that Terry LaBounty will be driving Mikey's car next week at Infinion Speedway. (if Terry can qualify)

Most likely they are using Terry Labonte BECAUSE he IS a past Champion (84 and 96) and he has a built in provisional for several races!

as said above...Texas Terry doesn't need to qualify.   Called this one a while ago..  6 more races another past champ will be in that car.  Are there any left?  LOl

When you go slow you save fuel. He still was a lap down.

I think that a finish like this is something that was crucial for that team to lift their spirits and to prove to themselves that it is possible.

Slow? He was in the top 15 all day and Top 10 the second half of the race. And he didn't get lapped until there were only a few laps left.

I wonder if switching drivers next week will kill their momentum / morale?

I am not. :icon_smile_big:

What I love is each week they don't make the race, Mikey is paying back $400,000 each to NAPA and UPS. Jarrett sure hitched his wagon to an ass.
